Well thought it was to be sunny this morning but still cloudy it looks like the sun is trying  to come out though.

I went up to the city of Santee yesterday and looked around not much there your typical big exit stuff off an interstate but a few other businesses.

The town of Moncks Corner is definitely bigger it is like your typical big town even has a super Wal-Mart but takes about 30 minutes to get to from here.

Stopped at a city park on the upper lake and WOW that is HUGE also. The Lake I have been on in Raystown is 38 miles long with some very long coves off the lake. That I would estimate could fit in the lower lake here twice at least and then there is the upper lake and the rivers that go over 100 miles or more this is a nice place.

Out lake at home though is deeper average debt I would say 100 feet but most places 200 feet deep and more.

I think someone said this lake here the lower one is only abut 70 feet deep in the deepest spot and average about 15 to 20 feet deep.

Anyway between the two lakes here they are just HUGE

I was up at an RV Park before here for a couple days it is on the upper lake Rock Pond Campground they have 700 sites. I like it here better much smaller only about 50 sites is my guess. These sites are BIG epically for being on the water room for your trailer, truck and boat.

My plan now is to come back here next September with the CC since I already paid for my site at Raystown. Then I will go back and get the boat and bring it down here. So may not be going to Maine after all we will see what happens who knows I can’t ever say I will still be walking then next day just life day to day making each day as good as I can.

Allot of trailers and trucks this morning I think everyone is out hunting not sure what season it is maybe some kind of deer season. Some are fishing I think looks like maybe two of the guides are out again today it is the weekend.

Well the water from last weeks hurricane must have made it down river to here because the lake came up about five feet in six hours. I went into the office because it was about eight feet from the back of my CC and asked if it would get any higher they said no that was as high as they let the lake get to. I guess yesterday when I was along the canal that connects the two lakes the current was so fast.

Last evening as I was sitting here watching the sun set with the sea gulls and birds in the water and all the beautiful vegetation around the lake I said to myself I am in paradise how lucky I am to get sitting here the only way it could get better is to see my 22 foot pontoon boat sitting here also.

Anyway guess some of that rain is coming up here not much from what the say but it may make me leaving Sunday morning in the ran oh well just so it is not snow.

Has been very nice here in the upper to middle 70 during the day and middle to low 60 at night.

Will not miss the bad Verizon area as the cell and internet just barley work.
