I was looking to replace the vinyl flooring with a laminate product my over sized dog ripped the floor in a couple of spots. Has anyone used laminate flooring for replacement. I was wondering about floor thickness with slides? I don't want to have marks on the floor from the slides going in and out. Any help would be great

There has been some owners of Montana's (used to own one)that have replaced their floor with laminated and hardwood floors.  Go to Montanaowners.com.

There are different thicknesses of laminate flooring. Minor but a fraction could make a difference. Also you would want to use the thinned padding to keep it low enough to avoid problems. You could try to get a look under the edge of the slide when it is in to see how much clearance their is between the floor and slide bottom. That is difficult though, impossible in some cases.
