Our group will have sites 252 -271. The sites in the middle of this group are short back to back sites. I believe they are allowing us to use two sites for 1 rig on these sites i.e (260/256) will be used as 1 site as will (257/261), (258/262), (259/263. I explained that there are 12 families interested. This area is one of the premium areas. Prices vary by the amount of people in your party. My family of 4 is $83.00 per night and we get a 10% discount with our KOA Value Card for a total of $74.70 per night. Rich's party of two was $71.00 - 10% = $63.90 These sites are 50 amp.

There is another block of sites away from the water in the grassy area that offers water and 30 amp service, no sewer. These sites are in red (sites 201-219). In September of this year these sites were $52 per nite not including the KOA value discount. Let me know if you'd rather be over there and I'll have Carolyn reserve that block instead. Having camped in both area's we like the sites with the view of the bay.

Almost forgot, KOA could only set aside 12-15 sites for our group.

CCRVC Alum are welcome to join us:

Ed n Stacey site 255 Sept 12-19 reservations made
Rich n Mom  site 254 Sept 12-19 reservations made

Suggestions:

1) It can get windy at night. Bring awning tie downs and de-flappers. Nothing like waking up at 2am thinking "hmm...I should put the awning down"

2) September can be chilly in Maine. Bring warm clothes, fill gas bottles.

Well we hope to tour the area on the way there or back allot of places.

Will make our reservation in March or before but will most likely now be staying there long with the cost and no hookup we are spoiled.

I bet it is a beautiful RV park though hope we make it as stated we plan to unless something happens.

Thanks for doing this for us all Ed take care and have fun.

Bar Harbor is a beautiful area. Visited there several years ago with work. Wish we were closer, I would change dates of Mountain Chapter rally.
